It looks as though my production SOLEM (Single Optic Lake Effected Monster) vinyl character will be making an appearance at the San Diego Comic Con (SDCC).  Make sure to stop by the Rotofugi/Squibbles Ink Booth #4836 to check it out (as well as a bevy of other awesome SDCC exclusive releases).  I don’t have much on details right now, but I will post as I find out…alls I know is that really really excited about this!

SDCC 'SOLEM' Teaser

I will have a brand new painting in the ‘My Kind of Town’ show that opens Friday, Sept. 25th @ Rotofugi in Chicago. The show is featuring all Chicago-based artists, so you know its gonna rock! I should be there (or down the street at the bar) all night, so if you come by please say ‘hello’!

I’m super excited to be a part of this show…so excited that I’m speechless!  Alls I can say is that when I dropped off my painting I saw a few pieces, and they were absolutely insane!!!:)Here is a description of the show as posted on VinylPulse:
“Two years after the excellent Toy Karma show, curator Mark Nagata (Max Toy Company) and Rotofugi join forces again for the sequel — Toy Karma 2 (flier) opening on September 5th @ Rotofugi. The lineup has been expanded to include over 68 of the best customizers, artists and designers creating kaiju and japanese art toys. Be sure to check out the full lineup on the flier. As you might expect and hope for, there will be several exclusive figure drops as well.”  OH YEAH!
