Brutus was part of a series called 'Mind Over Mater' in which I was combining tweaked versions of ceremonial masks and/or head-dresses with collegiate mascots. Brutus was based on/influenced by masks from the Native American Hopi Tribes. He was paired with The Ohio State University's mascot, Brutus the Buckeye.
